Love comes in all creatures.

Today was a very sad, stressful and worrisome day for me, and my family. Today, our family dog, our old girl, Rossi, has a slipped disk in her back, and I am so worried and sad for her. She may not make it for the long or short term (as in, 1 month).
The vet, who was so kind to see us on a Sunday, told me that we are going to give her pain management drugs, send her home, and see how she is going to be after a week (though she said give it a month if there is some improvement or stays the same). If she does not improve, the choice we will have to make is obvious. If she stays the same, we will be left with a tough decision.
I don't want to see her suffer, and that will be like torture for us. But, I also need to consider the quality of life she has, because quality of life is more important than quantity.
Rossi Ross, you are my little girl, who I love so so much. You have been my source of love and sunshine for the last 12 years. You came to me when my heart was not ready to love another dog, but you melted my heart and opened it to your living radiance and joy. I am so glad Mom and Dad brought you home from work, cold, scared and alone. You may not be gone yet, but you are gone yet, but seeing you in such misery and indignity is killing me. The sparkle in your eyes is still there, and will live on after you are gone. Forever, you are my girl...

Quitting My Job

Though it may have been a very difficult decision at first, I am so glad I did it, as that place was NOT for me. I will just say the government is not the be all and end all for places to work, and they are full of a lot of empty promises. I look forward to the next chapter in life, but am glad this one is OVER!

TEA parties

Don't you just love TEA parties, with all this shit going on in the States? I mean really, in the country that is suppose to be the "light on the hill" of freedom and human justice, we got people who are still so dead against universal health care, extension of social benefits and spending, etc. They seem to get a bad image on the news, however, don't you think it's kind of hypocritical that us, as the left wing viewers look at them wish such distain? Part of the luxury of American or North American (that is, Canada too) free is the right to protest; so why should we look down on them for exercising their rights?

TEA (taxed enough already) parties have a long history in America, and I think people should at least have an understanding and knowledge of what they stand for (look it up). As much as I may not agree with them and what they are for or against, I have nothing against them myself, as them have concerns and issues just as much as I do. You know the saying about you shouldn't judge a man until you've been in his shoes? Well, I think many left wing people should consider that as well.
